Prime-minister Orders Program For St. Sophia’s

Ukrainian Prime-minister Anatolii Kinakh decreed that a comprehensive program be prepared on the development of the national historical and cultural monument, St. Sophia’s Cathedral in Kyiv. This news was reported by Interfax-Ukraine on 2 November 2002.

In addition, a monitoring council to deal with the monument’s problems will be organized. According to Kinakh, the council should consist of as many members of society as possible, including representatives of education and culture.
