Russian police raids homes of Crimean Tatars to figure out what mosques they attend

According to police, this “action” was centrally approved and carried out throughout Crimea until 11 May. This was reported by “Ukrayinska Pravda.”

In the annexed Crimea, in the villages of Sudak region the police raided homes of Crimean Tatars.


It was reported by “Krym.Realii” citing a local resident, Lenora Dulber.


“The visits were devoted to counteracting extremist activities, the policemen were planning to visit 18 families of Crimean Tatars who live in the area. Police were carrying questionnaires, which included the question: “Which mosque do you attend? Do you go to the cemetery and what do you do there?” All this was recorded and drafted as an explanation that the Crimean Tatars were proposed to sign,” she said.
