"We have been living in a new reality for three weeks. Three weeks after the first days of shock, despair, and pain, we are seeing the increasingly cheerful eyes of those who have strong faith in our victory... Our victory is not far—it is approaching. It is with this hope that we start our duties, challenges, and testimonies every day. Stick together, because that is where we find our strength. Manifest it in your daily testimonies and prayers" - these are words from the address of the rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University.

Glory to Jesus Christ!

Time passes quickly during this time of tension. We have been living in a new reality for three weeks. Three weeks after the first days of shock, despair, and pain, we are seeing the increasingly cheerful eyes of those who have strong faith in our victory.

How nice is it to look at our students, staff, and all those around us. Each in their own way wants to help those in need. And they succeed! This is an incredible testimony of our values, deep faith, and strong love for our native land. We see pictures where there is pain and suffering, but we also see pictures where in that pain people boldly rise and respond to the aggressor, who entered our Ukrainian land with bloody boots. This is our land, and we will never accept that someone else might rule our cities and our country. This lifts our spirit and encourages us.

Today, in the first days of Lent, we forgive each other, pray for each other, and love each other more deeply. The outburst of this powerful love gives us inner strength to understand that we are united, which means that we will win.

More and more countries and people around the world are becoming convinced of our forthcoming victory. The same is true with us! Our strong faith and spirit of victory is transferred to those who are defending our country with weapons in their hands. Through Facebook and other social media networks, they experience the great joy of our unity. This gives them even more momentum to defend us, so that we may look ahead and demonstrate our patriotism and faith in every corner of Ukraine. These small things are truly important to all of us. Let’s do them with a sincere heart and pass them on to others, because it elevates everybody’s spirit.

We must be patient. The Lord God is with us. We do not know how long this trial will last, so we must gain courage and strength, and above all—deep faith in our victory. We will win. Our victory is not far—it is approaching. It is with this hope that we start our duties, challenges, and testimonies every day. Stick together, because that is where we find our strength. Manifest it in your daily testimonies and prayers.

Glory to Jesus Christ and glory to Ukraine!
