Title Hero of Ukraine conferred on Metropolitan Volodymyr

On July 8, in the course of the Jubilee Councilof the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the Presidium received a telephone call from the Presidential Administration, in which it was reported that in accordance with the decision of the president, Metropolitan Volodymyr was awarded the title Hero of Ukraine.

REFERENCE. This is the state decoration of Ukraine, the highest level of award in Ukraine, which is conferred on the citizens of Ukraine for performing an outstanding heroic deed or a prominent labor achievement. The Hero of Ukraine title is granted the Order of the Gold Star for performing an outstanding heroic deed or the Order of the State for outstanding work achievements.
