Already next week Sumy residents will have a chance to admire a giant Easter egg, which is prepared to participate in the Fourth Ukrainian Festival of Easter eggs.
This year artists Nadia Hudylka and Valentine Kozdrovska are painting an image of “Berehynia” – the Preserver, which is a symbol of good and protection people from misfortunes and traditional Tree of Life.
In addition to these images, which are crucial in the composition, the Easter Egg is decorated with patterns characteristic of Slobozhanshchina.
Berehynia from Sumy willbe brought to Kyiv on April 1, but this week Sumy citizens will be able to admire the painted Easter Egg in their hometown.
