2010 All-Ukrainian Youth Pilgrimage to Zarvanytsia

Commission on Matters of Youth of the Ternopil-Zboriv Eparchy begins its preparation for the 17th All-Ukrainian Youth pilgrimage to Zarvanytsia that will take place on June 25-27.

TERNOPIL - As reports the press service of the Ternopil-Zboriv Eparchy of the Ukrainain Greek Catholic Church, the Commission on Matters of Youth of the Ternopil-Zboriv Eparchy began its preparation for the 17th All-Ukrainian Youth pilgrimage to Zarvanytsia that will take place on June 25-27.

An organization committee was established which is made up of members of the justice commission and representatives of youth communities of Ternopil. In the three-day pilgrimage, dedicated to the year of monastic vocation, will take part approximately 100 thousand pilgrims from Ukraine and abroad. All interested persons are invited to participate in the pilgrimage.

The organization committee planned 3 impromptu “spaces” of happiness, creation, and song, an evangelistic concert, and others activities for the participants, which will take place in the spiritual center in Zarvanytsia.

The participants of pilgrimage will leave on June 25 from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Mother of God and in 2 days will walk 56 kilometers from Ternopil to Zarvanytsia.
