Throughout this year 30 parishes of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) moved to the jurisdiction of the UOC-KP.
It was stated by Patriarch Filaretof Kyiv and All Rus-Ukraine during his visit to Chernihiv. There Patriarch Filaret led the Divine Liturgy at St Catherine City Cathedral. The believers prayed for peace in Ukraine and worldwide.
After the service patriarch rejoiced: the parishioners of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church – Kyiv Patriarchate constantly collect and send aid to the Ukrainian army.
“We collect aid and money, clothes, food and medical supplies, and thermal viewers and vehicles. We give to our army and our volunteer battalionseverything we can, and people see it, and the army sees it,”the Kyivan Patriarchate’s Primate was reported as saying this by Channel 5.
