The ordination ceremony was led by UAOC Primate Metropolitan Makariy.
According to the press service of Lviv Dioceseof the UAOC, the ordination was carried out in the vestments of the blessed memory Patriarch Dymytriy.
On the eve of ordination, the rite of nomination of Archimandrite Borys (Kharko) as bishop of Kherson and Mykolayiv was held in the Assumption Cathedral of Lviv after the All-Night Vigil.
Together with the hierarchs, clergy and laity, Metropolitan Makariygreeted the newly ordained Bishop Borys (Kharko).
Bishop Borys (secular name Volodymyr Kharko) is an Associate Professor of the Economics Department of Lviv University, he worked as deputy dean for educational work, heis also a renowned economic expert in the media.
Until recently Bishop Borys chaired St. Andrew Stauropegial Brotherhood of Lviv.
