All Churches of UOC-Moscow Patriarchate Served Memorial Services For Repose of Soldiers Killed in WWII

On the eve of the 66th anniversary of the victory in WWII, on 8 May, the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP), Metropolitan Volodymyr of Kyiv and All Ukraine, served a memorial litia for the repose of all the perished fighters and victims of the war at Soborna Square of the Kyivan Cave Monastery.

May 9 is the day of remembering the perished warriors in prayers of the ecclesial calendar of UOC-MP.

On that day, in all the churches of UOC-MP, memorial services were served and prayers were said for the health of the living. So reported the web site of UOC-MP.
