On March 26, a meeting of the AUCCRO Secretariat was held in the format of a video conference chaired by the senior bishop of the Ukrainian Evangelical Church Vasyl Raychynets, the Institute for Religious Freedom reports.
Representatives of faiths shared their experience of conducting services in various churches and discussed measures that should be taken under quarantine in Ukraine to prevent the spread of coronavirus. They also discussed the specifics of organizing this year's festive services on the occasion of the Christian Pascha and the Jewish Passover.
The Secretariat of the AUCCRO addressed the issues of improving communication with representatives of faiths at the regional level to effectively and efficiently convey the relevant information.
At the meeting of the Secretariat, the issue of preparing the annual March for families and children, which is planned for the beginning of June, was discussed and recommendations were made for the heads of faiths.
