"Today (on April 20 - ed.) about 3:00 AM, a resident of the regional center made a call. The caller said that he saw an unknown man set fire to a bottle of flammable liquid, throwing it on the threshold of the building of the Jewish religious community on Teatralna street and escaped," the report says.
According to an eyewitness, the fire did not occur because the liquid did not ignite.
As law enforcement officers noted, the remains of a glass bottle with fractions of a flammable substance were found at the scene, which were sent for examination.
Now the information about the incident is registered in the Unified Record of Cases. Investigative and search activities are continuing to establish the identity of the attacker involved in the offense.
