OnAugust 4, the133rd Supreme Convention of the Knights of Columbus, in which Archbishop Mieczyslaw Mokrzycki took part.

On August 4, the133rd Supreme Convention of the Knights of Columbus, in which Archbishop Mieczyslaw Mokrzycki took part.

The Knights of Columbus were represented at the Convention on the part of the Roman Catholic Church in Ukraine: Fr. Ian Nickel,Fr Jozef Lyegovych, as well asMr Yuriy Maletski, Grand Knight of the Lviv Council of Knights of Columbus.

The Knights of Columbus organization functionsat Roman Catholic parishes in Striletske, Krysovychy, Lviv, Sambir, Mostyska and Yavoriv.

Recently the Knights were actively involved in the provision of humanitarian assistance in cooperation with Caritas of the RCC Archdiocese of Lviv to help families who have suffered most from the war in Eastern Ukraine.

Together with Archbishop Mokrzycki, they delivered medical equipment to the Military Hospital of the BorderlineForces, including X-ray machines.

This year's Knights of Columbus convention will last until August 6. It was reported by the press service of Lviv Archdiocese of the RCC in Ukraine.
