Archbishop of UOC-MP Recognized as Person of Year

Archbishop Luka (Kovalenko) of Zaporizhia and Melitopol of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate was recognized to be the winner of the annual rating “Person of the Year of Zaporizhia” according to the version of the Island of Freedom newspaper.

According to the editor in chief of the publication, Olena Holota, the head of the Zaporizhia Eparchy has been granted that status for his considerable contribution to the formation of the positive image of the city of Zaporizhia in 2011, the website of the Zaporizhia Eparchy of UOC-MP reported.
