Nowadays, the most dangerous narrative coming from the UOC-MP and circulating there with a certain acceleration is not about the 'Russian world' but about 'zhdunstvo' ('waiting').

“The more radical people there are waiting for Putin's victory, and the less radical ones are waiting for unfavorable conditions for Ukraine to end the war. They hope that the package of Ukrainian concessions will include the restoration of the status quo for the UOC,” he said.
“I think that the ideology of 'zhdunstvo' ('waiting'), which is now more widespread in this church structure than the ideology of the 'Russian world', was recently expressed very aptly by a UOC hierarch: “I wish our friends would come soon so that we could look our enemies in the eye!”
By the way, in my opinion, the recently adopted law strengthened 'zhdunstvo' within the UOC rather than injured the ideology of the 'Russian world',” the clergyman added.
