26 January, 15:45

During the night of January 22, the city of Myrnohrad in the Donetsk region suffered an enemy strike, resulting in damage to the residence of Father Ivan Vasylenko, the rector of the Holy Trinity Church.

This was reported by the Information Department of the UGCC.

As a result of the impact, two people were injured, 8 buildings were damaged, 50 cars were vandalized, and over 400 windows were shattered.

"The life of our people in Eastern Ukraine is tragic... And a good pastor who is always with his people is no exception... Thank God he is alive! Everything else will be rebuilt and restored... God, strengthen our people and help everyone affected by the woes of the 'Russian world'," commented the UGCC Exarch of Donetsk, Maksym Ryabukha, on Facebook.
