Bishop Bohdan Dziurakh arrived in Munich

On April 7, 2021, on the holiday of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin, the newly proclaimed Apostolic Exarch for Ukrainians in Germany and the Scandinavian countries, Bishop Bohdan Dziurakh, arrived in Munich, the seat of the Apostolic Exarchate. Among those who had the opportunity to be the first to greet the bishop were: the current administrator of the Apostolic Exarchate and the Apostolic Exarch Bishop Petro Kryk, the Chancellor of the Exarchate Father Andriy Dmytriv and several Servant Sisters.

Just before leaving Kyiv for Munich, the bishop had a telephone conversation with His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Father and Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. The Primate of the UGCC wished Bishop Bohdan and all the faithful “that the arrival of the new bishop would become a real Annunciation for all the clergy and Ukrainians in Germany and Scandinavia.”

It will be recalled that in a recent interview on Voskresinnia Radio, Bishop Bohdan expressed his gratitude to all those who had accompanied him in his ministry in Ukraine.

With the arrival of Bishop Bohdan, the preparations for the enthronement began. It is scheduled for April 18, 2021 .
