On Saturday, October 29, the head of the Pastoral and Migration Department of the UGCC, Bishop Stepan Sus, held a meeting with the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Archbishop Pierbattista Pizzaballa.
The meeting took place right after the Holy Mass led by Bishop Stepan today at 7:00 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Resurrection. During the Mass, a prayer for the army and Ukraine's victory was offered.
"We discussed with the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Archbishop Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the issue of assisting Ukrainian migrants living in Israel, as well as the pastoral care of Ukrainian Greek Catholics," Bishop Stepan stated in his Facebook post.
