Already in early September, Ukraine expects the arrival of Hasidim who arrive to celebrate the Jewish New Year Rosh Hashanah.
The lion's share of Hasidic pilgrims will be sent through the Boryspil and Zhuliany checkpoints. According to preliminary data, border guards expect the arrival of more than 20 thousand pilgrims. This is reported by the official website of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Recently, border guards improved their knowledge of the elements of organizing border control. Classes on improving the level of organization and implementation of border control were conducted by a representative of the main forensic center of the State Border Service.
To ensure high-quality access operations, border guards attract additional personnel for whom classes were held to improve the level of knowledge of the organization of border control and access operations.
With the help of technical means of border control, the military personnel studied in detail the passports of an Israeli citizen, types of forgeries and the legal framework on Access Operations.
15 border guards who were involved in the lesson have many years of experience in carrying out border operations. Starting from the beginning of September, they will provide practical assistance at the Boryspil and Zhuliany checkpoints.
As RISU has informed, more than fifty Patrol policemen from Cherkasy, Kyiv, Dnipro, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia and Odessa will ensure the safety of both local residents and foreign guests during the Rosh Hashanah celebrations for two weeks."
