On December 28, a world record was set in Chernivtsi: the largest mass performance of the carol “Let us all rejoice at Christmas!”

This was reported by "Molodyi Bukovynets" with reference to the Information and Education Department of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Diocese of the OCU.

In the Chernivtsi Regional Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, 1356 participants sang at the same time, which became a record in the category “The most massive performance of carols.”

The event was attended and blessed by Bishop Theognost.

Representatives of the World Records officially recorded the achievement and presented the participants and organizers with a certificate confirming the record.

The previous record was set a year ago in the Lviv region. In the village of Mshanets, Sambir district, on January 13, 2024, a new Ukrainian record for the largest mass performance of carols with the participation of nativity scenes was set. 105 nativity scenes from the Lviv region, and a total of 1259 participants sang “There in Bakhmut.”
