A businessman and the head of the Viche Party, Ihor Didkovskyi presented to his daughter a private restaurant which is to be opened in the Kyiv Cave Monastery, next to Ivan Honchar Museum.
When the program’s administrator inquired if administrative resources were used in this matter, Didkovskyi answered: “No one helped me.”
In answer to the presenter’s question if it is possible to be allocated a plot for a restaurant in the monastery, Didkovskyi answered that restaurant has no land of its own. “The restaurant is a part of the museum and Chapter 13 of the law “On Museums” mentions recreation zones of museums…”
According to Didkovskyi, the gift cost him 1 200 000 UAH. He said it was “not much.” The businessman is also a collector and owner of the largest collection of the Scythian gold consisting of 21 items. “It is my private property which constitutes a non-state part of the museum stocks of Ukraine,” noted the businessman.
