Caritas-Ukraine To Help Children Who Suffered From Sknyliv Plane Crash

On St. Nicholas Day, 19 December 2002, the Catholic charitable organization Caritas-Ukraine launched a long-term project to help children who suffered after the air-plane crash at the Sknyliv air base in July 2002 in Lviv. Caritas-Ukraine will provide financial assistance for orphans and half-orphans, as well as for children that were injured or surviving close relatives. The lists of children were compiled on the basis of the data taken from the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Lviv regional administration.
