Chief Rabbi of Kyiv responds to Marjorie Greene's "Ukrainian Nazis" accusation

18 April, 17:33

Chief Rabbi of Kyiv and Ukraine, Yaakov Dov Bleich, responded to Marjorie Taylor Greene's accusation of Ukrainians being "Nazis”.

This was reported by Bukvy.

Marjorie Greene claimed that tying aid to Israel to funding "Ukrainian Nazis" is anti-Semitism. She called for separating the bills.

In response, Yaakov Dov Bleich emphasized in a comment under the publication that there are no Nazis in Ukraine, but there are Russian occupiers.
"Russia targets Christians in the occupied territory of Ukraine. The Russian army destroyed over 400 Baptist churches," he noted.

It is worth noting that on April 16, Johnson published his plan for foreign aid approval in the House, which includes four separate votes for aid to Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, and national security priorities and part of the aid to Kyiv - as a loan.

On April 17, Republicans in the US House of Representatives released a new package of military aid, which, among other things, provides for the provision of ATACMS missiles to Ukraine.

The document stipulates that out of $61 billion, $23 billion will be allocated to replenish US arsenals. The aid will be provided in the form of a loan. Confiscation of Russian assets is envisaged to cover the debt. At the same time, the transfer of ATACMS missiles to Ukraine is envisaged.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is an American political figure and entrepreneur, a Republican candidate from the 14th district of Georgia in the US House of Representatives in the 2020 elections. She gained attention for publicly supporting the QAnon conspiracy theory on Facebook, although she later claimed not to support the conspiracy theory.
