Chief Rabbi of Odesa and Southern Ukraine Calls on Government to Do Everything to Maintain Peace

Rabbi Abvraham Wolff appealed to the government of Ukraine with a request to do everything possible to maintain peace and to do so with the utmost caution and wisdom, for “a reckless act or word can easily turn into a bomb that will break the united country into pieces.”

The rabbi calls on citizens of Ukraine, regardless of their nationality and language, “to strengthen peace and unity in the country.” Abvraham Wolff calls on all rabbis who head the Jewish communities of the country and all the Jewish citizens of Ukraine “to continue reading the Tehillim (Psalms) for peace in Ukraine and in the synagogues to say the prayer, which was published in the rabbi’s appeal.
