Chief Rabbi of Ukraine appeals to the MFA regarding UN vote on the nuclear issue

03.11.2022, 16:00

Chief Rabbi of Ukraine and Kyiv Moshe Reuven Azman published on his Facebook page an official appeal to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine regarding Ukraine's support for the resolution requiring "nuclear disarmament" of Israel, as evidenced by the results of the vote in the UN General Assembly.

"I think that such a vote of Ukraine in the UN is an awful mistake that will negate months and years of cooperation, support and negotiations," the appeal says.

The Chief Rabbi believes this mistake can ruin the efforts of all those who worked so hard to expand assistance to Ukraine in Israel and added that the country already considers this vote not only as an unfriendly act and even "as a stab in the back."
