Christian Festival Held in Ternopil

A large-scale Christian festival “I Believe in Jesus” was held in the western Ukrainian city of Ternopil on August 3-7.

A large-scale Christian festival “I Believe in Jesus” was held in the western Ukrainian city of Ternopil on August 3-7. The event was held with the participation of Protestant Churches of the city and district centers of Ternopil Region, as well as many famous Ukrainian figures of culture and art.

Every day, on the squares and in the parks of the city, the residents and visitors gathered to listen to Christian music and testimonies, view movies and participate in flashmobs and sports competitions.

Volunteers helped young Christians to clean the parks and play with children.

According to the organizer of the festival, Mykhailo Reznik, over 700 Christians participated in the event and 70 thousand Christian books were distributed.

The orgainzer was pleased to see the desire to share one’s faith in Jesus uniting the Christians of not only Evangelical Churches but also other denominations. He said 95% of what they planned has been fulfilled: the society responded positively to the event.
