A new large prayer house, Golgotha, of the Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith (Pentecostals) at 2 Skrypnyka Street in Lviv was consecrated on October 21. The church hall can house 2,000 people.

In 1990s, the faithful of the church gathered in a large tent for 750 people in the land plot allocated for the construction. The community, which now numbers 1,300 believers, began the construction in 1992 and expected to finish in six years but the work was suspended due to economic and financial crises, unemployment and migration to foreign countries.

Representatives of the authorities and clergymen of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church and Roman Catholic Church came to greet the evangelical Christians. The hall for 2,000 people was full.
