The proposals were developed by the Secretariat of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations at its meeting of 31 January on improvement of the Government’s legislative proposals. So reported the Institute for Religious Freedom (IRF).
The All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations unanimously supported this approach and the provisions of the bill aimed at renewal of the Law of Ukraine “On Freedom of Worship and Religious Organizations” in the wording which was effective before 12 December, 2012,” read the letters to the President and Minister of Culture from the heads of the denominations.
