Court postpones consideration of Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery's lawsuit until June

On May 1, the second court hearing was held on the lawsuit filed by the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery Reserve against the UOC-MP monastery to remove obstacles to the use of the property.

According to the monastery's lawyer, Archpriest Mykyta Chekman, the court postponed the hearing until June 5, reports the Information and Education Department of the UOC-MP.

The lawyer said that the hearing was postponed at the request of representatives of the Moscow Patriarchate.

As reported, at the first hearing on the suit filed by the reserve against the monastery, the court listened to the representatives of the Moscow Patriarchate and postponed the hearing to May 1, giving them the opportunity to prepare written statements on the matter.
