“Dnipropetrovsk Jewish religious community and parishioners of the central synagogue Golden Rose render all possible assistance to military personnel who are fighting the terrorists and protecting the unity and integrity of Ukraine, and urges the Jews of Dnipropetrovsk to provide active assistance for this end”, reports Interfax-Ukraine citing the press-serve of the local Jewish community.

According to community leader Oleksandr Fridkis, the money for soldiers are also donated by poor parishioners, and many Jews transfer money directly, “and very large amounts of money”.

Apart from supporting the wounded soldiers, the Jewish community helps those who are preparing to go to the war zone. In particular, the intelligence battalion of National Guard was given assistance of more than a ton of food.
