All parties in the Trilateral Contact Group agreed on the implementation of "Silence Regime" in the Donbas for Easter – documental approval remains. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to journalists today.

This is reported by UNN.

"The meeting of the TCG, first of all, the security subgroup, will be held tomorrow, there will be a continuation. It seems to me that all parties have already agreed on everything, but only the documentary wording of this agreement has not been approved yet. We really want this, we really want there to be no gunshots and no deaths at Easter. Everything is being done for this purpose, the Ukrainian side has already done everything for this," the President said.

At a meeting of the security subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group last week, all parties agreed that additional mechanisms should be developed to strengthen the ceasefire.

The document will be discussed by the working subgroup, taking into account the proposals, on April 27. If the subgroup comes to a positive conclusion, it will be discussed again at the general TCG on April 28, after which it will be adopted.

According to the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG Leonid Kravchuk, this is an important step towards establishing peace in the Donbas.
