On his departure from his village, Agios Theodoros, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew received a very pleasant surprise.
In front of the Primary School, where he had also studied, he saw the schoolgirls and students gathered, together with their teachers, who wished him with one mouth and one voice, “Have a good trip, Your Holiness”!
In turn, the Patriarch expressed his paternal love, distributed sweets, and wished them a good summer, blessing the future of his hometown.
