The Ecumenical Patriarchate in Istanbul prayed for Ukraine, its victory in the war against the Russian Federation and sang the anthem of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen "Oi u luzi chervona kalyna" ("Oh, the Red Viburnum in the Meadow").

The Consul General of Ukraine in Istanbul reported this on his Facebook page, according to Ukrinform.

"Today, on the day of the Holy Trinity, I and my wife, the staff of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Istanbul and the large Ukrainian community prayed at the service under the chairmanship of His Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew for our victory over the rashists," the Consul General said.

Upon completion, our students of the Ukrainian Sunday School congratulated his All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew on his name day, the Holy Trinity feast and sang the anthem of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen, "Oi u luzi chervona kalyna" ("Oh, the Red Viburnum in the Meadow").
