On June 26, the Exarch of the Ecumenical Patriarch in Ukraine, Bishop Michael of Komana visited the Stauropegial Cathedral of Sts Cyril and Methodius in the city of Novovolynsk.

"The Exarch led the Divine Liturgy. He was concelebrated by the invited clergy from many dioceses of the OCU."

During the service, intense prayers were offered for the victory of Ukraine over the Russian invaders, as well as for the repose of fallen soldiers and civilians tortured by rashists.

After the service, Bishop Michael handed over to the parish an icon of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara with a fragment of her holy relics.

The bishop of Komana spoke with the parishioners and blessed each of them with an image of St. John Chrysostom, a saint who introduced himself at the titular see of the Exarch, the Mission "Stavropegia of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Ukraine" reports on Facebook.
