Today, five active members of FEMEN climbed the belfry of the St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv and hung there a seven-meter-long banner with the word "STOP" to the sound of the bells. The purpose of the action was to show their attitude to Bill 10170 on abortions, reported Segodnia.

“The warning sound of the bell has informed the eternal city about a bandit collusion between the church and state aimed to impose state control over the sacred female gift of child bearing. It found its expression in depriving women of the right to terminate pregnancy,” reads the report of the press service of the FEMEN movement.
