The release of the metropolitan was announced by his lawyer, Mykyta Chekman, on Telegram. This information was disseminated by the UOC MP press service.

The lawyer stated that the bail amount was collected by parishioners of the UOC MP after the Church's account details were published on its website. According to him, the bail was contributed by around 1000 individuals.

Pavlo (Lebid) has already expressed his gratitude to them for their prayers and the funds raised.

Recall that on April 1, the Security Service of Ukraine announced suspicion against the former abbot of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan of UOC MP Pavlo Lebid.
