The police are looking for vandals who damaged the grave of a Muslim righteous man, Eskender in the Bakhchisarai District of the Crimea.
According to Internet mass media, the grave stone was broken with a hammer.
The incident probably happened in the beginning of the week. On May 22, a statement in this regard was submitted to the District Police Department and criminal proceedings were instituted according to Part 1 of Article 297 of the Criminal Code (violation of a grave or dead body.) The article envisages a penalty from a fine of 200 exemption limits of income to 3 years of imprisonment.
