"We remained in the occupied territories. We have not abandoned our temples and our people. We have 11 parishes in the occupied territory. It is obvious that the level of their pastoral life is slightly different. But, for example, in Donetsk, our Cathedral has not gone empty. Although a lot of people left Donetsk. Our priests, crossing the line of demarcation, go there, even running into various kinds of danger, but they feel their duty to be with their people. I thank that our priests who are pastoral there for their pastoral courage to be together with our people," the head of the UGCC said.
