Head of UOC-Moscow Patriarchate Meets Former Apostolic Nuncio in Ukraine

On March 12, the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate, Metropolitan Volodymyr, received Archbishop Ivan Jurkovic in his patriarchal residence in the Kyiv Cave Monastery.

During the meeting, the former head of the nunciature shared his impressions of the seven years of his stay in Ukraine, the UOC-MP website reports.

Archbishop Ivan Jurkovic has recently been appointed Ambassador of the Vatican to the Russian Federation. He was the third ambassador of the pope in Ukraine, where he had been since April 22, 2004.
