Hierarchs of Lviv region call upon the faithful to be honest in elections

The church representative together with leadership of Lviv Regional State Administration discussed the safety of citizens, as a truce in the East could lead to undermining the situation in Western Ukraine. Therefore, it is necessary that people were vigilant.

The session of the hierarchs of Lviv region discussed the appeal to the faithful about the responsible choice during the elections of October 25 and adequate respect to ATO participants. The meeting was held with the participation of the hierarchs from UGCC, UOC KP, UOC MP, RCC, Head of Lviv Regional State Administration Oleg Synyutka and Deputy Chairman of Lviv Regional State Administration Yuriy Pidlisnyi. It was reported by the press service of the Lviv Regional State Administration.

“The joint appeal to the residents of Lviv concerningthe responsible choice in the elections of October 25 is particularly important in the context of developments in the East. Together we have to do everything to ensure that people are not subjected to various temptations of voting not true to conscience and, what is most important, would not lose faith,” Yuri Pidlisny said.

In addition, the Bishops Council stressed the need to properly respect the combatants in the area of ​​ATO and especially to take care and show respectful attitude to the families of those killed in the east of Ukraine.
