04.04.2022, 11:48

During the height of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, UGCC parishes, immersed in human suffering, became havens of social assistance and shelter. Three such parishes in Uman, Vinnytsia and Fastiv were visited recently by His Beatitude Sviatoslav, Father and Head of the UGCC.

The head of the UGCC was welcomed in Uman by Fr. Dmytro Beley, in Vinnytsia by Fr. Anthony Vatseba and Fr. Hryhoriy Rohatsky, and in Fastiv by Fr. Vitaly Martsinyuk.

His Beatitude Sviatoslav spoke with the priests and their faithful, and expressed his support for their efforts to serve the needy. The hierarch’s visit was a pleasant surprise for the priests, which brought joy, encouragement and a sense of community, that "they have not been forgotten."

Details of the visit can be viewed at "Live TV" video.
