His Beatitude Sviatoslav's father to be reburied in Stryi on May 20

On May 19-20, in Stryi, Lviv region, the reburial of Yuriy Shevchuk, the father of the Head of the UGCC, who reposed in God on December 5, 2022, at Summa Hospital in Akron (USA), will take place.

His Beatitude Sviatoslav wrote about this on his Facebook page.

On May 19 at 19:00, a funeral service will be held at the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and on May 20 at 12:00, the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy with the Rite of Funeral will be held.

Live television will broadcast the services live.

"Please pray for the repose of his soul. May he rest in peace!" wrote the head of the UGCC.
