In Sevastopol, unidentified persons desecrated Holocaust monument, Ukrainska Pravda informs.
As deputy chairman of the Sevastopol Jewish community "Hesed-Shahar " Boris Gelman told this agency "Interfax-Ukraine".
" The monument was painted with anadequate symbols" - he said .
"Monument was established in 2003 and was desecrated 10 times. Always had been some swastikas, Nazi symbols. This time we spotted red paint and all Soviet symbols"- said Gelman.
" We do not know who did it, this is a task of law enforcement agencies and the Interior Ministry to act". - said Gelman.
Monument to the Victims of the Holocaust was established in Sevastopol in 2003 on the site where 4,200 Jews and Krymchaks were killed on 12 July 1942 by the Nazis.
