In Lviv, Tolstoy Street renamed Cardinal Guzar Street

In Lviv and the community, 19 streets were renamed as part of the de-Russification process.

City Major Andriy Sadovy noted that "this is just the beginning."

He wrote about this in his Telegram channel, reports TSN.

As of now, 8 streets were renamed in Lviv:

Lev Tolstoy Street to Cardinal Guzar Street;
Bryulov Street to Iryna Kalynets Street;
Kozlanyuk Street to Heroes Of Mariupol Street;
Sechenov Street to Shumlyansky Street;
Nekrasov Street to Yuri Ruf (Yuri Dadak) Street;
Kibalchych Street to Khersonska Street;
Dagestanska to Hostomelska Street;
Chuvashska Street to Chornobayivska street.
Streets in other localities were also renamed.
