In temporarily occupied Mariupol, the former building of the Church of Good Changes is being converted into a "Komsomolets" cinema.

This was reported by the 7x70 Telegram channel.

The Church of Good Changes purchased the building in 2016. It was restored by the community and used for worship and various church projects.

In April 2022, the building was severely damaged as a result of Russian military actions. In June 2022, the General Prosecutor's Office of the “DPR” opened a criminal case against the church's pastor, Gennady Mokhnenko.

In 2024, the occupation authorities of Mariupol took over the church building and began to convert it into a "Komsomolets" cinema with the engagement of a construction company from St. Petersburg.
