“Independent” Church: Seven bishops of UOC-MP concelebrated with Patriarch Kirill

At least seven bishops of the UOC-MP took part in the service on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of the enthronement of Moscow Patriarch Kirill, which took place in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow on February 1, 2025.

This was reported by the Telegram channel "Veselyi Pip", Religiyna Pravda reports.

According to the report, the following bishops of the UOC-MP were recognized in the photos and videos: Chairman of the Synodal Department for Family Affairs Panteleimon (Povorozniuk), Metropolitan Mytrofan (Nikitin) of Horlivka, vicars of the Donetsk diocese - Ambrose (Scobiola) and Varsonofiy (Vynnychenko), Former Metropolitan Seraphim (Zaliznytsky) of Ivano-Frankivsk, Archbishop Varnava (Filatov) of Makiivka, and Archbishop Irinarch (Tymchuk) of Novopskov, vicar of the Severodonetsk diocese.

According to the Russian media, on February 1, 2025, Russia celebrated the 16th anniversary of Kirill Gundyaev's enthronement to the patriarchal throne of the Russian Orthodox Church. On that day, Kirill led the Liturgy at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow.
