Ivano-Frankivsk Archdiocese of the UGCC sent an ambulance car and stoves to ATO zone

On Christmastide the head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church blessed and sanctified an ambulance car, warm clothes, blankets, food and self-made ovens for Ukrainian military. The convoy of trucks with aid to Eastern Ukraine sent from Ivano-Frankivsk archdiocese of the UGCC.

The Head of Church wished there were fewer injuries among our military, but in every case life-saving aid will be provided with this ambulancein any case. The patriarch said that a group of volunteers of the Maltese Aid Service with field cuisine is going to Mariupol in the trucks“to feed those who need food, and warm those who today might be suffering from cold, because the enemy has bombed their homes.”

“This is one of dozens trucks that were purchased with donations of our faithful,”" the patriarch said.

Father VolodyyrChornyy, Director of Caritas-Ivano-Frankivsk Charity Foundation, said that ambulances were provided withwound dressings. There are all necessary items to deliver first aid. “I wish that the Church was closer to the soldiers, so they remember that the Church not only prays for them, but provides assistance,” the priest said

“May God richly bless you all,”wished Patriarch Sviatoslav, as reported by the Information Department of the UGCC.
