On September 14-18, 2012, the Justice and Peace Commission of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church participated in the annual European Conference of Justice and Peace Commissions. Representatives of thirty commissions from Europe attended the event. The topic was “Arab Spring...One Year Later” and it was held in Malta.
RISU learned from the Secretariat of the Justice and Peace Commission of UGCC that during the first two days, an international workshop was held to analyze the situation in the Middle East and northern Africa. The Arab Spring theme was suggested by leading experts and high-ranking officials of Malta.
