In view of the greetings passed by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow to the Roman Pope during the recent meeting in Moscow with the pope’s representative and a recent greeting extended by the patriarch to Jews on Rosh Hashanah, representatives of the UOC-KP reproached Patriarch Kirill for expressing “brotherly feelings” for the Jews and Catholics and only hatred for the Orthodox of the Kyivan Patriarchate.

In view of the greetings passed by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow to the Roman Pope during the recent meeting in Moscow with the pope’s representative and a recent greeting extended by the patriarch to Jews on Rosh Hashanah, representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Kyivan Patriarchate (UOC-KP) reproached Patriarch Kirill for expressing “brotherly feelings” for the Jews and Catholics and only hatred for the Orthodox of the Kyivan Patriarchate.

“As we can see, the Patriarch of Moscow gladly greets the Jews on religious holidays and expresses 'brotherly feelings' to the head of the Catholic Church. Whereas he has no good words or brotherly feelings for the Orthodox brethren of the Kyivan Patriarchate. Only anathemas and curses,” stated representatives of the UOC-KP, reported the press service of the UOC-KP.
