Letter of Sympathy to Polish Military Ordinariate from Bishop Mikhail (Koltun)

Representatives of Department of the Patriarchal Curia of the UGCC on Matters of Pastoral Care in the Armed Forces express words of sympathy to Polish military ordinariate regarding the tragic deaths from the Smolensk plane crash.

KYIV – Representatives of Department of the Patriarchal Curia of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) on Matters of Pastoral Care in the Armed Forces of Ukraine express words of sympathy to Polish military ordinariate regarding the tragic death in the plane crash near Smolensk of the president of Poland and the entire delegation, including Archbishop of the Polish Army His Excellence Tadeusz P?oski, reports the Information Department of the UGCC.

“For a long time we have cooperated with the military ordinariate of Poland during the cooperation we became close friends. With great sadness and pain we received the tragic news.

Through prayer we unite with you and ask the Lord to accept the souls of the deceased, and to o that the people who lost relatives to survive this tragedy in a Christian way,” reads the letter of sympathy of Bishop Mikhail (Koltun), head of the Department of Patriarchal Curia of UGCC on matters of Pastoral Care in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
