Lviv Archeparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate Held Memorial Services for Smolensk Crash Victims

LVIV – The Lviv Archeparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate on April 11, 2010, held memorial services for the repose of the Orthodox Ordinary of the Polish Army, Archbishop Miron, and other victims of the plane crash near Smolensk. Archbishop Augustyn of Lviv sent to Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw a letter of condolences stressing that the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church suffered a great loss due to the death of the Brigadier General, Orthodox Ordinary of the Polish Army, Archbishop Miron of Hajnówka.
